As a cumulation of  the Young Inle Lake Ambassadors Programme, MIID and the Young Inle Lake Ambassadors have published the research results conducted by the Young Ambassadors in the Inle Lake Region. The outcome is published in the Inle Lake Hotspot Journal which identifies the major issues faced by the lake and its people.

Among the key issues are sedimitation, poor water and sanitary facilities, pollution caused by agriculture practices and low stocks of fish in the lake. The Hotspot Journal will be distributed amoung decision-makers in the region to raise awareness and enable a positive change for the lake and its population.
